Finding accommodation in Paris is not easy! It is very important to begin your search for housing several months before your arrival to France.
 

PUBLIC ACCOMMODATION
CROUS

University halls of residence managed by the CROUS are primarily reserved for students on grants. Detailed information can be found at www.cnous.fr

La Cité international universitaire de paris (CIUP)

In Paris, students enrolled on a master program and foreign researchers can apply for accommodation at CIUP: http://www.ciup.fr/chambre-universitaire.htm

PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION

Increase your chances of finding accommodation in Paris by contacting private organizations that offer various types of housing.

Student residences

These residences are furnished and range from a studio to 2 room apartments. The rent is higher than at CIUP but the conditions are generally better:

Reservations are made online.

Private rental

Les auberges de jeunesse (Hostels) are also a good solution for a few days: www.fuaj.org
