The Université Paris-Sud, created in 1970, is a multidisciplinary institution offering more than 200 nationals-recognised diplomas in the following areas: Science (Mathematics, Information Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth Sciences and others), Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering, Law, Economics, Management, Sports, Technologies. 27,300 students at 5 sites south of Paris, the largest being the Orsay campus, located in the midst of a botanical garden of 250 hectares. Occupying more than 270 hectares, Université Paris-Sud is the largest university campus in France.
