Institutional Visits and Exchanges
An Overseas institutional visit (OIV) is when a PGR attends at another institution overseas to carry out research work, collaboration or to undertake learning or training.
Placements are when a PGR attends non-higher education organisation to carry out work, project, collaboration which may or may not relate to their PhD research.
